OUR WORK ACROSS THE NATION

We've identified three key challenges to prioritize for helping disadvantaged individuals.

BRIDGING STEM FOR ALL.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education is becoming increasingly important in Vietnam as the country strives to develop a competitive workforce for the digital age. However, underprivileged students, especially those in rural and disadvantaged communities, face significant barriers in accessing quality STEM education.

NOURISH AND HEAL.

Vietnam has made significant strides in reducing poverty over the past decades. As of September 2024, the national poverty rate has declined to 1.93%, reflecting a one percentage point decrease from the previous year. The government aims to further reduce this rate to approximately 0.9% by 2025. Despite these achievements, challenges persist, particularly in ensuring adequate food and healthcare for the remaining underprivileged populations.

ASSIST HOMELESS ELDERLY.

The homeless elderly population in Vietnam is rising, especially in cities like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Lacking family support or stable income, many elderly people live on the streets with limited access to social security, healthcare, and housing. Despite government welfare efforts, resources are insufficient, leaving many vulnerable to health risks, isolation, and poverty.
